Microair Unveils Advanced Engine & Systems Interface for T3000 skySuite at EAA Air Venture 2025

EAA AirVenture, OSKHOSH, WI – July 22, 2025 – Microair Avionics will introduce a major product update at EAA Air Venture 2025: the new T3000 Engine and Systems Interface (ESI). Designed with two objectives, to make engine management easier for pilots from within the T3000 ecosystem and to make engine installation faster and easier.

Designed as a seamless addition to the modular T3000 skySuite platform or as a stand-alone engine-health system, the ESI delivers real-time insights from across the aircraft, including engine, fuel, electrical, oil pressure, RPM, EGT, CHT, Tacho, Landing Gear, Flap position and more, directly to the cockpit via a crisp, intuitive T3000 display. Smart alerts and colour-coded indicators help pilots make faster, more informed decisions and detect potential issues early and before they escalate in-flight.

The ESI features and innovation through fire wall design that allows all engine sensors to be installed prior to engine fitment and to simply plugged in to the ESI on the hot side of the wire wall. On the cold side are the interfaces for the other aircraft systems and the connections to the T3000 instruments. For further installation flexibility both fuel flow, battery voltage and current monitoring are duplicated on the hot and cold sides.

This is more than just an engine monitor, it’s a complete engine and aircraft awareness solution that completes our T3000 instrumentation,” said David Withers, CEO of Microair. “Our goal was to rethink the architecture of engine and systems monitoring so we could ease pilot workload and significantly reduce engine wiring and installation time. The through-firewall is a significant innovation for this category of aircraft, as are our flexible display options. We’ve created a sophisticated, safety-focused solution designed to increase situational awareness and the overall flying experience for LSA and Experimental pilots.”

Purpose-built for new aircraft and retrofits alike, the ESI reduces wiring complexity, simplifies installation, and maximizes space, without compromising capability. It’s a compelling solution for aircraft builders and owners seeking the next step in affordable engine-health, systems interface and modern avionics.
Demonstrations of the T3000 ESI will be available at Microair’s booth #4001/4002 – Hangar D throughout EAA OSHKOSH 2025.
